Kevin Millen, a candidate to replace current Athletic Director Skip Bertman, pleaded guilty in 1999 to charges he stalked former Georgetown coach John Thompson.
A D.C. Superior Court judge sentenced the former Georgetown basketball player to two years probation.
According to a CBS news report, Millen made more than 30 threatening phone calls to Georgetown's athletic department and was charged with unlawful entry on campus.
As a condition of his probation, the judge ordered Millen to leave D.C. and to return his Memphis, Tenn., hometown.
"He has some health issues that absolutely must be addressed in order to keep him from being further involved in the court system," Judge Anita Josey-Herring said about Millen, according to the CBS report.
Millen submitted a resume for the LSU athletic director position and included some information about his Georgetown experience.
He listed a three-month stint in 1995 as "head coach" for Georgetown. According to Millen, he "coached incoming freshman in summer league" and "taught plays learned in college."
He has since held a variety of positions, including stints at Burlington Coat Factory and Friedman's Jewelry Store.
According to hoyabasketball.com, Millen received the "Raymond Medley Award" in 1995. The award honors a player or manager who is a "model student athlete."
