LSU junior saftey Chad Jones was named the Southeastern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Jones returned a punt 93 yards and brought it back for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of LSU's 30-26 victory against Mississippi State on Saturday.
He also racked up seven tackles in the game.
