Football: Scott named SEC Offensive Player of the Week — 10:57 a.m.

LSU senior running back Charles Scott has been named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Scott ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries in LSU's 20-13 win against Georgia on Saturday. Both touchdowns came in the game's final three minutes.

Scott now has 30 career rushing touchdowns, good enough for fifth on LSU's all-time list.

No. 4 LSU hosts No. 1 Florida on Saturday in Tiger Stadium at 7 p.m.
