LSU coach Les Miles said junior offensive guard Will Blackwell will miss time after suffering a broken foot on the first offensive series in LSU's game against North Carolina on Saturday.

"He will be lost for a length of time, a very significant length of time," Miles said.

Junior center T-Bob Hebert replaced Blackwell on Saturday.

"Losing Will really is a blow because of the guy," Miles said. "He was a tremendous leader on that line."

Miles said Hebert and sophomore guard Matt Branch and redshirt freshman guard Josh Williford will vie to replace Blackwell.

"All of them will get snaps in there to replace what is an injured starter," Miles said.
