KLSU

Denton Hatcher

Traveling in between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Americana musician Denton Hatcher is one of the south’s budding singer-songwriters. Hatcher's music is familiar but diverse, much like the musicians who hail from his hometown of Vicksburg, MS.

England in 1819

England in 1819 is the collaborative project of brothers Andrew and Dan Callaway. Their unique 'grandwave' sound uses smooth vocals and soaring french horn as ethereal counterparts to thick synths and pounding beats.

Minos the Saint

Minos the Saint is a recently formed and refreshingly unorthodox trio (sometimes quartet and larger) of respected Louisiana musicians with a far-reaching chamber folk sound. In July 2013 the band celebrated the release of their self-titled EP with a crowd of more than 300 at the Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge.

The Millburns

The Millburns are a rock and roll band from Baton Rouge, LA. The music is heavy in melody and harmony employing a dual lead guy/girl vocal combination paired with a driving rock instrumentation.

The Wilder Janes

The Wilder Janes are a band formed in 2013 of four musicians from four parts of Louisiana making original music with an original sound. All women sing lead and harmony and between the four of them play a dozen instruments in each set.

Rareluth

Rareluth is a magical musical duo out of Lafayette, Louisiana. With choreography by Tyler Watkins performed live singer Christine and backup dancers, this is not your typical dive bar performance.

Speakeasy

From the East coast to the West coast, the members of Speakeasy combine their musical influences to create a unique blend of funk, soul & jazz, but they would rather let the music do the talking...

Prom Date

Prom Date grew up scattered across Louisiana’s swampy wilderness. What started as a friend-rock band with a love for electronic experiments became a tight-knit group focused on danceable pop music.

Jason Martin

Jason Martin fills the lyrics in his songs with a soulful honesty that can't be ignored. A native of Plaquemine, Louisiana, Jason grew up watching his dad play songs from artists like Shake Russell, Dan Fogelberg and Jackson Browne.

The Widowers

A Louisiana alternative rock 'n' roll band that writes distorted love letters. Upcoming gigs: July 23 as a part of Royal Cyclops Singer-Songwriter Night
