It is very very sad for his family. I can't believe it .He was very intelligent, Scholar, genius man. He was very ethical, gentleman. He loved his wife too much. He helped his wife in every aspect. He infact helped her getting into to LSU.After she got job in North Carolina, She moved and filed for divorce. My prayers goes for him and his family

I knew him since last 8 years and you bet he was the man of his words..He always mastered what he wanted in life. He left a fantastic job to pursue his lov for astrophysics and know the wonders of general theory of relativity. Please dont make fun by talking about Professor demands or Gravita and stuff.. He was really a gem of a person and you bet he could be just anybody i mean just anybody. May god bless him. Ameen

I agree completely with Jacob, this isn't something that happened in a movie, it happened on our campus to one of our graduate students. If you aren't a decent enough human being to respect that then don't waste your and our time posting indecent remarks.

The real question is how was he able to get on the roof to begin with? Why don't they keep the roof access hatches to buildings locked?

Please stop making jokes, this was a human being who died.

If you can't say it with your name attached, you don't need to say it.

I don't think LSU understands the gravity of the incident.

I heard he jumped off of the building? I heard this from people that acctually saw the accident. This is upsetting.

I just hope he did not commit suicide because of possible unreasonable demands from his major professor. Exploitation of graduate students is becoming an increasingly common thing in academia.

He jumped. I saw it. If I would have kept walking and not looked up, he probably would have landed on me.
