I'm in agreement that there are terrible and classless fans everywhere. Not saying that we at LSU do not have our share, but typically these people are not Alumni of our great university. They are white trash that has nothing else to do on a Saturday but drink and behave like the lowlifes they are. However, Alabama don't think you're any better. In fact, when some Alabama sorority girls came to tailgate at our tent I complimented one on her very fashionable dress. My compliment was answered with vulgar language and a mouth full of rude comments about my, what I thought was cute, outfit. Ole Miss fans were very rude at our tailgate. A friend even had an old lady spit on her unwarranted. In Floridia, I had a friend pushed to the groud and the list goes on. So other SEC schools, do not think that you too do not have piece of trash fans because you do. I have met them!

hahaha. the naivety of those proclaiming this type of behavior doesn't happen on their campuses. Bull! I have gone to LSU away games at nearly every SEC stadium. Some are certainly worse than others - Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida... but don't act like your team's fans are innocent. Just because you don't hang around the students' tailgating sections at your school and you hide tucked away neatly around the nice, calm older people where you tailgate does not mean this type of behavior is not going on at other places around you. Same at LSU. There are some nice, calm, family tailgate areas at LSU too where you will not encounter much hostility at all either. As an avid LSU fan, I fully support Tiger Bating and endless LSU cheering, but I do not support spitting, vulgar sexual gestures, or other over-the-top possibly harmful behavior. So I'm not supporting the behavior yall are complaining about, but don't act like it doesn't happen at your school and is isolated to LSU.
