I was expecting to see something a little more controversial. A hidden camera and a format that wasn't structured around interviews would have been more telling. On an unrelated note, you might do a story on the large homosexual contingent that Ole Miss typically travles with - they are known to occupy public restrooms and even patches of bushes on opposing team's campuses and to fellate/sodomize each other - all to the tune of dixie.
Sooner fan
Don't think this kind of attitude & behavior is exclusive to LSU/Alabama; as an OU fan, I can assure you that the rivalry between Texas/OU is no better. Fortunately, that game is played at a neutral site, Dallas, not Norman or Austin. In the end those involved, apparently, have too much & too little. Too much booze & too little maturity & common sense. So much for good sportsmanship.

I'm guessing thes ladies got a wake-up call about how opposing fans get welcomed to baton Rouge!! Immaturity has it's rewards.

It does not represent the South or University for the home team fans to act in an inappropriate way. We get so much negative comments from the North and the media, that we need to remember, someone is always watching. I know that at each school, there all always going to be fans that take it over the top. I think the display that was observed, is an embarassment to the University.

There is a difference between aggressive support and acting like ignorant white trash. As far as Big CJ's comment " You can come to Alabam next year and see for yourself that Alabama fans, most of them anyway, would never act this low class." I am an Alabama fan first but also root for LSU when they are not playing Alabama because my father went there. I guess just because I root for the LSU team doesn;t mean I root for their white trash fans.

Trash talk is a natural part of College Football Rivalry, but it is also important to remember how much can change from year to year. Parity and the 85 scholarship limit have brought us all to the point where the field is more competitive than ever. How else could UAT fans talk about their team like they are the 01' Canes or the 04' Trojans, while at the same time they look to beat Auburn for the first time in 7 years?

How many frat-tastic losers did you interview??

That's funny - I'd be ashamed just to be from Shreveport!!

Seriously are you serious guys come on college football is a business do you Nick Saban had a chance to come back if he wanted to. Its a business with a lot of money involved. Now how do you suspect Bama fans to react next year towards them Tigers when they come to Alabama. Starting a new rivalry is cool but leave to the men on the field you know the ones who actually win the games.

For bamaherb whose comment is like pages and pages ago....tigerbait makes sense dumbass. we're not trying to attract the other team. We're saying your mascot attracts our tiger and our tiger chews your ass up.

although some of us lsu fans can go over the top and be undeniably offensive, the majority in my opinion are just having fun. Every fan has some "nastiness" within but i will not hesitate to say that we are Louisianans, and we do embrace southern hospitality. Just before game time my wife i were in front of tiger stadium enjoying the festivities when this alabama fan walked up to us and asked us for a beer. Seeing that he was a classy fan as well, all i asked was he take of his "Reauxll Tide Reauxll" sticker and the beer would be his. He agreed and we drank a few beers just talking football, and the SEC but mostly about life. I am an Iraqi War veteran, and I believe that there are other things that exist that are far more important than bashing another teams fans. If we as fans put forth just a small portion of our energy from gameday into something that really mattered, such as the freedoms that veterans provide so that we can act any way we want to on gameday, then our nation would be even greater than it is now. Freedom of speech and expression are the foundations upon which i fight, so feel free do whatever you want, but just remember the really important things in life are free, but are always paid with a price. Geaux Tigers!

LSU has the most degenerate, shameful, uncivilized, classless group of fans in the SEC. I've had more objects thrown at me in Baton Rouge than at any other SEC venue- even had a friend of mine physically assaulted and hospitalized by a group of Tiger fans (5 against 1). I've also seen car windows broken and tires slashed. Ninety percent of them belong in Angola.

i hope the reveille & these faithful "reporters" got the reaction they were looking for. funny how this story is still able to receive comments while other stories can't.

I don't know if I would say most aggressive, shouldn't you just say most alcoholic??
