BRPD releases sketches of suspects in double homicide

Baton Rouge Police released sketches of the men believed to be connected to the murder of two students.

BRPD released descriptions of the men and now believe they were looking for someone to rob.

BRPD released the following statement:

Suspect #1 is believed to have been the driver. He is a black male, estimated to be in his 20's. His hair was done in twists in rows. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.

Suspect #2 is a black male also in his 20's, possibly even over 30, 5'8"-5'10" tall, with a muscular build and a receding hairline. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt with a high collar and dark jeans.

Investigators now believe the suspects, still at least 3 and possibly 4 black males, were in an older model light-colored Oldsmobile Alero, stock (no visible after-market add-ons).

The suspects were observed on the complex property as early as 9:00pm on the night of December 13th, and may have been in the general area or on property even earlier.

All investigative indicators so far are that the suspects were scouting for an opportunity to rob someone, and the working investigative theory at this time is that the suspects may have observed KOMMA arrive at the complex to visit his friend ALLAM, and may have followed KOMMA into ALLAM's apartment.

These suspects should obviously be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with any information on their identities or whereabouts is urged to immediately contact Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867 (344-STOP).
