The scene of a double homcide at Edward Gay Apartments. Two graduate students were killed.

The task force investigating the murder of two homicides Thursday night announced it is looking for three young males.

According to a statement released by the LSUPD and BRPD cooperative, the men were seen leaving the scene quickly in a small to mid-size four door car.

The car may have been driven by a fourth person, according to the statement.

The car was seen leaving the Edward Gay Apartments with the headlights turned off as it headed south on Governor Claiborne Drive, according to the statement. After the car turned west onto Aster Street, they turned the headlights back on.

The victims were identified early Friday morning as Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma and Kiran Kumar Allam.

Chancellor Sean O'Keefe addressed the media about the tragic shootings earlier today.

He said one of the men was found bound in the apartment. Both were shot in the head. System spokesman Charles Zewe told Fox News that Komma was found bound with a computer cable.

Anyone with any information on the vehicle or its occupants, or with other relevant investigative information, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
