THIBODAUX (AP) — Nicholls State says it does more than educate Louisiana residents, it’s also a big contributor to the state’s work force. According to data compiled and released by Nicholls on Tuesday, an overwhelming number of Nicholls graduates remain in Louisiana. Of the 9,260 students who graduated between 1998 and 2008, a total of 8,294 have stayed in the Pelican State.

This is a great idea!
1. Students could actually learn a trade that is so specialized that they could be successful brew house/ restaurant owners. (I am a home brewer and I don't stagger around drunk. Brewing is a craft that the brewer appreciates and sips slowly once the final product is done bottling
2. The university could increase scholarship budgets off of the profits from the brewery.
3. I don't want to type anymore but it would be awesome!
