Piers Morgan will take over for Larry King on CNN, the station confirmed Wednesday.
Morgan's new gig will start in January and will air on CNN at 8 p.m. CT. The show, currently titled "Larry King Live," will be renamed but has yet to gain a new moniker.
Morgan is best known as a judge on the NBC show "America's Got Talent."
