Recruiting: Reed to announce decision tomorrow - 2:11 p.m.

Scout.com four-star wide receiver Trovon Reed will make his college decision Friday morning around 10 am at Thibodaux High School, according to Scout.com.

Reed wanted to decide Friday to honor the birthday of his late mother Roszaina Johnson.

The Scout No. 11 wide receiver will decide among LSU, Auburn and Oregon.

Reed has visited Baton Rouge for many football games, including Florida and Auburn.

The Scout No. 52 overall player doubles as a quarterback for Thibodaux. Reed passed for 694 yards and 10 touchdowns and rushed for 746 yards and 10 touchdowns his junior season.

Reed missed much of the 2009 season with a knee injury but returned Nov. 5 against St. Augustine.

Hopefully, Trovon realizes there's only one of these programs that will get him ready for the NFL career he so richly deserves, and it's in Eugene.
