LSU junior defensive tackle Anthony Johnson tweeted Thursday that he will skip his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.
A two-year starter for the Tigers, Johnson recorded 35 total tackles this season with three sacks and one interception.
Known more by his "Freak" nickname, Johnson was awarded second team All-Southeastern Conference honors by both the Associated Press and the league's coaches this season.
The New Orleans native picked up freshman All-American honors from CBSsports.com and Sporting News as he made 12 total tackles playing solely as a backup in his first season in Baton Rouge.
NFLdraftscout.com lists Johnson as the No. 5 defensive tackle of all eligible prospects and projects him as a third round selection.
