LSU's Susan Jackson captured a national championship on the vault Saturday in the NCAA individial event finals.
Jackson scored a 9.8563. Utah's Kristina Baskett and Auburn's Julie Dwyer tied for second with a 9.8438.
Jackson's national title is the fourth individual title in school history. The last individual national title for LSU came in 2006, when April Burkholder captured a national championship on the beam.
