Courtney Evans
Secretary Candidate
Ticket: StudentsFIRST
Major: Human Resource Education

1. How will you change the daily life of students in your college if elected?
Several resolutions have arisen concerning problems in the College of Ag. Some including an organized advisor system, filtered emails, and bringing back the Ag Ball, just to name a few. If elected, I promise to work my hardest to make all of this, and more, happen.

2. What is the most important issue facing students on campus?
The recent budget cuts are a major issue facing students today. With initiatives to advocate and work against them, we, as a student body, will be able make the campus a better place.

3. Where do you see the University in five years?
With good leadership, LSU can only become a more welcoming and influential college, in not only education, but also athletics, campus-life, and all-around student involvement.

4. What will you change from the past administration?
I will be more involved in the college than the past council and look to reinstate the Ag Ball and other important events. Another strategy I will use is to focus more on the ideas and concerns of actual students in the College.

5. Why are you qualified for the position you're running for?
I was the Secretary of the 4-H Club at my high school. Having held that along with many other officer positions in other organizations I feel aids in my qualification to becoming the next Secretary of CoA. My ambition to lead is also a great quality I possess.
