LSU Athletics announced Wednesday that it will implement changes to the student football ticketing process beginning in the 2026 season this fall.

Starting this season, student football tickets will be non-transferable. This means that each ticket may only be used by the student who bought the season ticket package. Additionally, the transfer, sale or use of a ticket by someone other than the students who originally purchased the ticket is prohibited.

However, students who miss a home game will have the chance to return their ticket during a designated return window each game week. Students will receive a full refund for that ticket.

Eligible students who did not purchase a season ticket package will be able to purchase these returned tickets. Priority will be given according to the student priority ranking system.

Also starting next season, screenshots of tickets will be denied at the student gate to keep all tickets non-transferable.
